Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs fell in the series opener to the Pawtucket Red Sox, 3-0, Friday night. Austin Voth gave the Chiefs an excellent start, allowing just an earned run in the tough-luck loss. Syracuse managed six hits in the game, with five off Pawtucket starter Henry Owens.
