(Waldorf, Md.) - The Long Island Ducks defeated the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs 4-2 in 11 innings on Friday night in the opener of a three-game series at Regency Furniture Stadium. Southern Maryland opened the scoring in the second inning against Ducks starter Mark Blackmar with a solo home run to left field by Michael Snyder and an RBI fielder's choice from D'Arby Myers.
