Lightning Reassign Slater Koekkoek to Syracuse

TAMPA BAY - The Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Slater Koekkoek to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League today, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. Koekkoek, 21, has skated in three games with the Lightning this season, posting two penalty minutes and six shots on goal. He made his NHL debut on March 31 at Toronto, logging 15:31 time on ice.
