July 23, 2017 - The recent struggles for the New Bedford Bay Sox continued on Friday evening at Cardines Field, as they dropped to 15-20 in a 7-2 loss to the Newport Gulls. The Gulls jumped all over Bay Sox starting pitcher Fino Brito (Rutgers) in a five-run second inning that provided more than enough offense for the victory, which evened the season series at three games apiece. July 23, 2017 - Bakula will be the starting designated hitter, while Teller is one of the nine pitchers chosen to represent the Southern Division of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.
