Volcanoes Walk It off for Second Time in Season

July 23, 2016 - KEIZER, Oregon - After a 12-run game the night before, the Volcanoes smacked thirteen hits around the yard en route to a 10-9 win against the Everett AquaSox. The San Diego Chicken cheered on the Volcanoes the night before and tonight, local Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts cheered the Volcanoes to victory in front of 3,753 fans. Canadians Back In Tie For 1st After Shutout Victory

July 20, 2016 - Spokane, WA- After allowing a season-high 15 hits in the series opener, Vancouver bounced back on Tuesday night with one of its most impressive victories of the season blanking Spokane 1-0 to move back into a three-way tie atop the North Division with just six first-half games remaining. It was rocky waters for the Canadians early as RHP Luis Sanchez went four innings, allowing just two hits, but walked a season-high six hitters and struck another Indians hitter with a fastball before exiting the game in a scoreless tie. ... Tri-City Snap Skid with Afternoon Win over Everett

July 19, 2016 - The Tri-City Dust Devils (16-16) ended their five-game losing streak on Tuesday as the team came away with the 8-6 victory over the Everett AquaSox (16-16). G.K. Young hit his first professional home run in the victory and drove in a total of three runs. The Dust Devils jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, but Everett would score four unanswered runs to take a 4-3 advantage after the fourth inning. Reynolds Named NWL Player of the Week

July 18, 2016 - KEIZER, Oregon - Salem-Keizer outfielder Bryan Reynolds has been selected as the Northwest League Player of the Week for the period of July 11-17 as announced by on Monday. Reynolds marks the first Volcanoes player to earn the league's weekly recognition this season. The Giants second-round pick from this year's draft put together an 8-for-20 (.400) week at the plate.
