Two-Out Thunder Smothers IronPigs

May 5, 2016 - Allentown, Pa. - The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) conjured up some two-out magic all night en route to a 10-1 rout of the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies) on Thursday night. The RailRiders' (15-13) third straight win assured them of a winning road trip. The IronPigs (13-13) have dropped three of the teams' four IronRail Series meetings on the young year. Chiefs Rally Late, Blast Bisons 14-6

May 5, 2016 - Buffalo, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs scored ten consecutive runs in the final three innings and blasted the Buffalo Bisons, 14-6, on Thursday night from Coca-Cola Field. The Chiefs broke a 5-5 tie with a seven-run eighth inning, collecting season-high totals in both hits and runs. Syracuse (16-10) grabbed the lead in the first with a couple of long balls. Johnson & Kahnle Recalled to Chicago

May 5, 2016 - (UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) -- Right-handed pitchers Erik Johnson and Tommy Kahnle were both recalled by the Chicago White Sox today. Johnson is scheduled to start tonight's game for the White Sox against the Boston Red Sox. Charlotte's roster currently consists of 23 active players. In all, seven players have gone from Charlotte to Chicago this season. May 5, 2016 - The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will open a two-game set with the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders on Thursday night at Coca-Cola Park at 7:05 p.m. The Pigs enter play at 13-12 on the season after dropping two of three against Pawtucket earlier this week.
