| More information: | Purpose: To give current International and Independent League professional players and free agents or college experienced players an exposure based instructional oriented professional formatted Fall League. The goal is to provide the opportunity to this pool of players Major League Baseball Organizational exposure in live scheduled games. Utilizing the 6 team league format for live competition and evaluation. This format provides players 2 different opportunities for exposure, instruction, player development, and professional evaluation. This simply leads to player's signing professional contracts in an honest and professional manner. NOTE: Current college players may reserve a roster spot! In the event a player is drafted or signs a professional contract, at players request a full refund is in order or a credit to one future event is in place. Providing the only Independent based Fall Instructional League. International Performance Baseball is a non-bias professional baseball development company consisting of current professional scouts, managers, and coaches. The sole goal is to educate player's on all professional options that are available and through our events and leagues this will lead player's to signing professional baseball contracts. All professional leagues and player development options will be disclosed. General Information: League is limited to 120 player's which will all be contacted and screened by league commissioner. The Southwestern Fall League will consist of 6 teams using 20 man rosters. Teams names ( Casa Grande Desert Gators, Prescott Valley Possums, Flagstaff Northerners, Tucson Tomateros, Sierra Vista Colts, Nogales Border Dogs. All league stats will be accessible to all colleges and professional leagues and scouts. Reporting date is September 13th and the will run through October 1st. Up to 16 games scheduled against Major League Baseball Organizations (Instructional Ball Teams) and Southwestern Fall League teams. Opening day is September 23rd. Scouts and staff representing Major League Baseball Organizations, Independent and International leagues. Which will include the Atlantic, Canadian-American, Northern, Frontier, Golden Baseball, United, American Association, which have all confirmed attendance. International league representatives and scouts from Mexico, Japan, Korea, Italy and Taiwan have confirmed attendance as well. Games will be played at Tucson's Electric Park-Kino Sports Complex(Spring Training Home of the Arizona Diamondbacks). The complex will consists of 7 fields and (Stadium-Seats 6,500), 4 batting cages, conference rooms, locker rooms, training room, and league offices. Southwestern Fall League staff members will include "Current" scouts, managers and coaches from Major League Baseball Organizations, Independent and International leagues. Note: All Southern California residents that register for this event can take place in optional workouts with League staff. Workouts are free of charge. Limited to 120 players-20 Players per team 8-Pitchers 12-Position Players ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Instruction: The Southwestern Fall League will consist of 19 days of professional instruction and evaluation. A 3 day pre-season training period will take place prior to Opening Day which will be on September 16th. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Games: Up to 16 games scheduled against Major League Organizations and Southwestern Fall League Teams. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Scouts & Staff: Scouts/Staff from Major League Baseball Organizations, and Independent/International Leagues will be in attendance daily. All day to day staff/instructors members are "Current" professional scouts, managers and coaches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hotel: TBA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Uniforms: Team uniforms and practice attire provided for use and laundered daily. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be catered or provided by hotel. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Extras: All players will have documented scouting reports. This will enable professional scouts, coaches, managers and any other baseball representatives to view your professional evaluation and scouting report. This will lead to more players signing professional contracts and or other opportunities at the college and semi-professional levels. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Transportation: (Players are responsible for all transportation (Flights-Taxi) before and after event.) Private shuttle services will be available for $25.00 each way. Player's must reserve time through IPB office. 714-970-BALL (2255). Shuttle times will be at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. Arriving and departing flight should be made for the Tucson International Airport. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fee: $2495.00-All Inclusive, $500 deposit required to assure roster spot (payment plans available) Remaining balances must be paid before August 1st, 2010. Balances paid in full 120 days prior to start date will receive a $300.00 discount. Local resident fee is $1295.00.(Promotion) Local residents will need to provide lodging and transportation. Players may have option to setup payment plans or inquire about local sponsorship in their area.
