Xplosion Mini-Camp Opening February 4

The Kalamazoo Xplosion, a member of the Continental Indoor Football League, has announced its mini-camp schedule for the 2008 preseason. The mini-camp will open Monday, February 4th at the Soccer Zone in Portage located at 7187 S. Sprinkle Rd. Portage, MI. The three week camp will consist of six two-hour practices, as well as an intra squad scrimmage on February 16th at the Sprinkle Rd. Soccer Zone at 9 pm.
By the 20th of February, head coach Mike Sparks anticipates that his roster will be cut down to roughly 30 players, who will each showcase their talents in a preseason scrimmage against the Saginaw Sting, a 2008 expansion team of the CIFL. The Sting are owned and operated by the members of Football Enterprises LLC., who also own the Kalamazoo Xplosion. The scrimmage is set to take place February 23rd at the Sprinkle Rd. Soccer Zone at 7 pm.
