Wayne County Rumble Football Tryouts Announced

Do you think you have what it takes to play Professional Football? We're looking for smart, strong, passionate, committed football players to fill out our 2007 roster. Experience the thrill and join the Rumble for our first tryouts on September the 9th from 9 to 1. This will be the first of what will likely be four organized workouts in the Northeast Ohio area as we look to build a championship-caliber team in Wayne County.

Athletes will be tested in speed, agility, and position skills. The cost of the tryout is $50.00 pre-registration and $60.00 for all walk-in participants. All athletes will receive a Wayne County Rumble T-shirt for participating.

"Because of the enormous response that we've received through emails, phone calls, and even guys just walking into the office, we felt that we needed to move this first tryout to a larger field to accomodate everyone," said Director of Operations Sean Morley. "We really, really tried to stay inside, because after all, this is indoor football. It's logistically just going to go a lot more smoothly outside on the practice fields at Wooster High School because of all of the players we have coming in for this workout."

"I've honestly never seen a response like this," says Ramone Davenport, owner of the Rumble. "I was expecting a good turnout, but this is unbelieveable. We might not have to hold anymore tryouts after this one. We're really excited about seeing Wayne County's best athletes in action on the 9th."

When: Saturday, September 9th, 2006 Time: Registration begins @ 8:00am to 9:00am Try-out starts promptly @ 9:00am Location: Wooster Generals practice field, located across the street from Wooster High School. (515 Oldman Rd, Wooster, OH) Required equipment: Workout clothes (t-shirt and shorts) and cleats. It is a grass field.

Fee: $50 if pre-registered by September 8th. $60 day of tryout. (Cash, money order, credit/debit card or certified check made payable to Wayne County Rumble, LLC) Registration forms can be downloaded from the Rumble's Official website at www.waynecorumble.com, or by stopping by the team's offices at 243 E. Liberty Street in Downtown Wooster.

The workout is open to the public, so if you're curious about the Rumble, this will be a good time to stop out and watch us put Wayne County's first professional football team together.
