LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. - The Lake Elsinore Storm Professional Baseball team announced today their 2017 Trick-or-Treat with Thunder Contest. On October 31, one lucky local child will have the opportunity to walk their neighborhood alongside the Lake Elsinore Storm's lovable mascot, Thunder. This year's contest consists of a pumpkin-carving contest with the winner being selected through the organization's social media pages (Like the Lake Elsinore Storm on Facebook, follow @Storm_Baseball on Twitter and @LakeElsinoreStorm on Instagram) "Thunder loves the Halloween season and Thunder loves candy," said Lake Elsinore Storm General Manager, Raj Narayanan. "One lucky fan will have a Halloween memory they will never forget by getting to go trick-or-treating with our big green dog, Thunder."

Local children ages 4 through 12 are invited to enter this year's exciting contest. Fans wishing to participate should submit a picture of their child holding their Lake Elsinore Storm carved pumpkin on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. On Facebook, fans should post their pumpkin photos to the Lake Elsinore Storm social media accounts and be sure to tag @Storm_Baseball when sharing on Twitter and @LakeElsinoreStorm on Instagram. The organization will create a photo album of select artistic submissions, so fans are encouraged to have fun and be creative! Parental supervision is recommended when children are carving the pumpkins. Deadline for entry is Friday, October 27. Once the winner has been selected, he or she will be contacted no later than Monday, October 30 by 5pm and will have the opportunity to go trick-or-treating with Thunder on Halloween for a one-hour window on the night of October 31.

Thunder is only available between 5:15 and 6:15pm.Children may enter only once and must live within 20 miles of The Diamond in Lake Elsinore. Please only submit a recent photo taken within the past year. For more information, call 951.245.4487 or visit stormbaseball.com.
