Rumble Announce Television Deal
September 28, 2006 - Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL)
Summit County Rumble News Release
The Wayne County Rumble are excited to announce that even more people will now be able to catch all the fast paced indoor football action at the Noble Ice Arena without ever having to get off their couch.
While the best place to catch the Rumble will always be in the stands at the Noble Ice Arena, we realize that not everyone will be able to make it out to a game. For these fans, we've made arrangements with Clear Picture, Inc. of Wooster as well as Massillon Cable to televise all six Rumble home games.
Fans serviced by these two cable providers will also be able to see the Rumble's weekly coach's show, where the Rumble coaching staff will discuss the previous week's game along with some highlights, as well as preview the following week's GLIFL matchup. These will be weekly throughout the entire season so even when the team is on the road, fans will be able to keep track of how the team fares when it travels out of town.
Negotiations are ongoing to make sure Rumble fans serviced by other cable providers in the area can also see their home team on the road to the 2007 Great Lakes Indoor Football League Championship. Announcements will be made when those deals are reached as well. We feel this is an important step in the process of putting together a championship-caliber team that Wayne County can be proud of. On the field, this coverage broadens our fanbase so more people can get on board the Rumble Wagon, and off the field this announcement strengthens our position with our current and future partners in the community who can rest assured that the Rumble are here to stay, and we're serious about getting our name - and yours - out there into the community.
