Reggie Gives Tickets, Helps Kids Out Of The Rain

April 19, 2016 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Topeka Pilots News Release

With the RoadRunners playoff series returning to Topeka this weekend, Reggie the RoadRunner hit the town on Monday to help spread the word. It was a wet and rainy morning when the Runners mascot arrived at Williams Fine Arts & Science Magnet School, but the bird would not be deterred. Armed with an umbrella, Reggie dished out high-fives and helped walk students into the school. Afterwards, he went from class to class to remind the kids that they each get a free kids ticket voucher to the games on Friday and Saturday night. So it might have been a dark and stormy morning, but it was all smiles for the students at Williams. The RoadRunners take the ice for Game 3 and Game 4 on Friday and Saturday night (7p) on their quest for a Robertson Cup. All tickets to each game are only $5. Fans who purchase a foot long sub at participating Subway locations (29th and California, 29th and Wanamaker, 10th and Gage), receive a free ticket voucher to this weekend's games. Fans can also find free kids ticket vouchers at Dickey's BBQ, Dunkin Donuts, Chick-fil-A, Hooters, and Cold Stone Creamery.
