
Freedom WR/KR Adrian Reese Wins CIFL Special Teams Player of the Week Award

The CIFL league office has announced that Fort Wayne Freedom WR/KR Adrian Reese has been named the CIFL Special Teams Player of the Week for week 8. It is the first league honor given to Reese this season, and the first since K Justin Hoover was named IFF Special Teams Player of the Week in week 6.
Reese was all over the field against the Saginaw Sting, posting 6 KO returns for 94 yards (long of 24) and 1 missed FG return for 24 yards. On offense, he pulled in 2 receptions for 61 yards, including a 4th quarter 31-yard TD from QB Kota-Carone Colors.
Reese and the Freedom (3-5) head to Chicago this Saturday, May 17 for a match-up with the Western Division-leading Slaughter (6-3). The Freedom returns home on Saturday, May 24 to take on the Muskegon Thunder (5-3) in the 2008 home finale. Kickoff is at 7:00pm at Memorial Coliseum, and great seats are still available.
