The Fort Wayne Freedom prepare to take on the Wheeling Wildcats at Wes Banco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia this Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 7:05 p.m.
Reeking havoc on the Marion Mayhem, the Freedom started off the 2009 season last Saturday. Dan Musielewicz and Brian Jackson each caught two touchdowns passes during the 46-23 win over the Mayhem. The defense intercepted the Mayhem four times, including a 48-yard touchdown return by Aaron Lane.
The Wildcats (0-1) are coming off of a by week after a last second loss in Marion. Wheeling Finished with 109 yards rushing with Quarterback Rod Rutherford carrying 17 times for 71 yards and four touchdowns , and was 20-30 for 195 yards through the air and one touchdown for a passer rating of 149.3.Â
