Blackjacks Bring NFL Experience to Front Office

The Blackjacks are proud to announce the hiring of Lawerence 'LP' Pinson as their Director of Player Personnel and Scouting.

A former NFL linebacker with both the Jets and Arizona Cardinals, Lawrence Pinson now devotes his time to mentoring and training troubled youths athletes. His football career started as an outstanding player in high school leading his team Jenks to its sixth-straight state title in Class 6A his senior season. Pinson was one of the outstanding players in his class, as he was recruited by Nebraska, LSU, Oklahoma, Miami, and Norte Dame while finishing First Team All-State, All-Conference, and All-American.

As a defensive standout at Oklahoma State, Pinson played in all 13 games as a freshman with 40 tackles and 1 interception, while highlighting his 2004 season with 46 unassisted tackles and 23 assist for a total of 69. Voted Most Valuable Player on the 2007 Amsterdam Admiral NFL Europa Team, Pinson was picked up by the New York Jets before suffering a career ending head injury. Currently Resides in Las Vegas, NV where he host camps for developing the future athletes of tomorrow. Pinson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing. As a NASM Certified trainer, Lawrence has been training clients to fulfil whatever fitness needs they desire at the all inclusive City Athletic Club.

I feel that lawerence can not only bring players to this organization, but help explain to these guys what it will take to move to the next level." said General Manager/Head Coach Anthony Bartley.
