Storm Wins Against Danger

Sioux Falls, SD- The Sioux Falls Storm faced the Nebraska Danger on May 16th at the Storm Shelter, where they won their tenth game of the season with a 53-40 victory.

The two teams traded shots throughout the game with a lot of penalties, the Storm pulled away and the Danger's fate was sealed in the fourth quarter. The Storm would first score with 9:11 remaining in the first quarter when Mike Tatum returned a kickoff to the house. That would give the Storm a 6-3 lead after Parker Douglass' PAT was unsuccessful.

Rolandan Finch II finished the game with 27 yards, five rushing attempts for 23 yards and four yards on one reception. Storm quarterback, Lorenzo Brown threw for 188 yards while completing 17 of 23 of his passes, throwing a total of six touchdowns. Brown also rushed for 19 yards on eight attempts. James Terry finished the game with 89 yards off of five receptions while collecting two touchdowns and nine rushing yards on two attempts.

Mike Tatum, the 5'10" wide receiver from Oxnard University owned the longest play of the night with a 50-yard kickoff return. Tatum finished the game with 42 yards off of four receptions while collecting one touchdown. The Storm Thunder Defense compiled 55 total tackles, six that which were for a loss. They also had four pass breakups and one block.

The Sioux Falls Storm will face the Bemidji Axemen on May 31st in Minnesota, after a bye week, where kickoff is set for 3:00pm.
