October 10, 2014 - American Indoor Football (AIF) News Release

READING PA - The AIF is proud to announce that they have reached an agreement with AllStarInc to place a team in Reading PA. The ASI (AllStarInc) Panthers were founded in 2013 by AllStarInc. The Panthers have been operating as an Independent Indoor developmental football team designed to help football players develop their skills within arena/indoor football. The ASI Panthers will be playing their home games at the 7,500 seat Santander Arena in Reading, PA.

"We're extremely excited about playing in the AIF in 2015. John Morris (Owner and CEO of the AIF) and Larry Clark (AIF Director of Operations) have both been fantastic while our negotiating has been going on. I look forward to working with them in 2015." Stated Bill Mattis Owner of AllStarinc.

"We looking forward to having an AIF team back in the mix in Reading." Says John Morris, Owner/CEO of the AIF. "We welcome Bill Mattis and the entire Panthers organization. We expect Reading to be at or near the top with victories."

Morris goes on to say, "Reading makes perfect sense for the AIF footprint. ASI will be a perfect team/partner for our league. We have been in negotiations with Bill for quite some time now. We want to get to know our teams, we want to be partners with our teams. I feel that in the last couple of months speaking with Bill and his organization that the comfort level is there for both of us."

The Panthers placed their organization "on the map" " by battling the Baltimore Mariners in a 2014 pre-season game and coming up short on a 54-44 losing effort. The Mariners went on to be the eventual AIF 20104 league champion.

"My team is a blue collar, hard-nosed, hardworking, take no crap type of team. That's what the city of Reading is like.same thing.hard-nosed, hardworking, take no crap. I have a feeling they will immediately identify with our guys and want to get behind them all the way." Stated Mattis.

This is not the last move for the AIF. Look for more announcements in the coming days. For all of the latest information please go to www.AIFProFootball.com.
