UK's Own Shane Boyd to QB Bluegrass Warhorses

LEXINGTON, KY --The Bluegrass Warhorses are proud to announce that former University of Kentucky QB Shane Boyd has signed a conract for the 2014 season.
Shane played in 36 games while starting 16 at the University of Kentucky. He finished his college career with 2,484 passing yards with 13 TD's and gained 845 rushing yards on 191 carries and 13 TD's.
He spent 5 seasons in the NFL, most recently in 2009 with the Houston Texans. He then made the switch indoors playing in the Arena Football League. Shane played in 2013 for the Tampa Bay Storm in the Arena Football League, helping assist the Storm into the Playoffs.
The Warhorses kick of the 2014 CIFL season when they take on the Northern Kentucky Rivermonsters on February 3rd inside Alltech Arena. For more info visithttp://www.bluegrasswarhorses.com.
