
Evansville Continues Partnership with CIFL

SAGINAW, MI - The Continental Indoor Football League today announces the contract extension with the Evansville Rage. The Rage will continue their membership with the CIFL and will begin their second season in the league this coming February.
Under the direction of head coach Mike Goodpaster, the Rage finished their 2012 campaign with a 7-3 record. Goodpaster will lead the Rage in their quest for the 2013 CIFL Championship.
Swonder Arena is home to the Evansville Rage. With a seating capacity of over 1,500 the arena provides an intimate setting where fans are close to the gridiron.
Melissa Logsdon, owner of the Rage, is looking forward to having a football presence in Evansville as they prepare for 2013. Logsdon commented on the team's re-signing with the league by stating, "My fiancé', Eddie, and my passion grew as we worked in management for the team. When we heard of the league changes, we became even more excited to be part of it all. After the tragic car accident taking Eddie July 13th, I am now more determined than ever to push forward to the 2013 season with the CIFL, bringing a new tone of professional indoor football to Evansville and the surrounding areas."
Indoor Football Incorporated is excited to see the Rage returning to the CIFL as the league enters into its 7th season.
