Series Notes:
-The two teams met once in late December and once in mid-January with each team winning once. The Komets outshot the Mavericks 88-65 in the two games and went 2 for 5 on the power play compared to Missouri's 1 for 7.
-Colin Chaulk led the Komets against the Mavs with three goals and one assist, Ryan Jardine had two goals against Fort Wayne.
-Fort Wayne is 14-4-1, dating back to the regular season, in their last 19 games and Missouri is 14-2-1 over their last 17 games.
-Fort Wayne's Nick Boucher and Missouri's Charlie Effinger tied for the league lead with 32 wins during the regular season.
-Effinger allowed just six total goals in his team's four-game sweep of Evansville during the Opening Round stopping 136 of 142 shots he faced (.958 save percentage).
-Fort Wayne's 38 minor penalties lead all playoff teams and the Mavs are third in the league with a 21.4 percent power play in the post-season.
-The Mavs have yet to allow a power play goal in the post-season stopping all eight chances Evansville had in their Opening Round series.
-Chris Auger (eight points) and Mike Vaskivuo (nine points) each have six-game point streak for the Komets.

-The Thunder and Brahmas played each other eight times in the regular season with Wichita winning five of those games. Seven of the eight head-to-head match-ups were decided by one goal.
-Adam Hogg and Chad Woollard each had nine points in the games against Wichita this season. Thomas Beauregard led the Thunder with 11 points against the Brahmas.
-Wichita was 7 for 31 (23%) on the power play versus Texas, the Brahmas were 5 for 31 (16%) against Wichita.
-Texas has the best home power play during the playoffs with a 31% success rate (4 for 13).
-Wichita has scored three shorthanded goals in the playoffs with Alex Bourret has a SHG and two SH assists and R.G. Flath has two SHG's.
-Flath leads all post-season players with six goals and is tied for the most game winning goals with two.
-Texas goalie Brad Fogal is 3-0 in the playoffs with a league-best 1.41 GAA.
-The Brahmas are 3-0 when scoring the first goal, while the Thunder have yet to score the first goal of the game yet in the playoffs (five games).
This Date in Playoff History (Friday, April 13, 2004)
The Laredo Bucks defeated the Amarillo Gorillas by a 9-1 score outshooting the Gorillas 43-16 in the game. Brent Cullaton scored a goal and had three assists as seven Bucks had multiple-point games. The win for Laredo pushed them past the Gorillas with a 4-2 series win in the Southern Conference Finals and put them into the CHL Finals where they defeated the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in seven games.
