Stars to Sell Alabama BCS Championship Coins and Framed Photo

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Lucky number...14?! New Orleans will host the ultimate rematch on Monday, January 9 when #1 LSU takes on #2 Alabama. The Crimson Tide is seeking their 14th national title, one that fans will want to remember forever.

The Huntsville Stars are offering the official Alabama BCS Championship coin straight from the Highland Mint to all college football fans. The 24KT gold-flashed BCS Championship commemorative coin measures 39 mm in diameter featuring the Alabama "A" on the front. The reverse is minted with the Official BCS Championship logo as well as the date and location of the game. Each coin is individually numbered on the back making this a true collectible that will last forever. The coin is protected in a hard acrylic capsule, delivered in a black suede jewelry box and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. The coins are just $35 each. Only 10,000 of these coins will be produced.

In addition, Alabama fans can pick up an official BCS Championship gold coin photo mint for just $99.99! This limited edition 13" x 16" black wood and double matted frame features an 8" x 10" custom photo of the championship game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. This individually hand numbered photo is framed with a 24KT gold -flashed 2012 BCS Championship commemorative game coin as well as a 24KT gold-flashed coin minted with the official 2012 BCS Championship game logo. A numbered Certificate of Authenticity is located between both coins and below the photo is an engraved nameplate. The framed photo mint is $99.99. These are both officially licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Company. There are a limited number of each item so place your orders today!

The Stars are currently taking pre-orders for these limited edition items! The first order will be placed at 4 p.m. Friday, January 6. If Alabama does not win the BCS National Championship, your order will not be placed and your order form will be shredded. Then again, Nick Saban won't let those Tigers beat his Tide twice in the same year, so get your orders in to celebrate #14!

Fans can also call (256) 882-2562 and ask for Sydney or stop by the ticket office at Joe Davis Stadium to place their orders. Neither item will be shipped. Fans will have to stop by Joe Davis Stadium to pick up their orders.
