Harrisburg Stampede "Official" Practice Facility Secured, Announce 1st Open Try-Out Date

The Harrisburg Stampede is pleased to announce that they have again come to terms with In The Net Sports Complex as the "Official" practice facility of the Harrisburg Stampede for the 2012 Season. In The Net will provide The Stampede with a full season of practice slots for both the regular season and play-offs. In The Net will also provide The Stampede with dates for open try-out camps as well as up-coming Kid Camps.
The Harrisburg Stampede will be holding its first Open Try-Out on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at In The Net Sports Complex. Registration will begin at 8am. Try-Outs will start at 9am and run until 11:30am. We ask that any kickers interested in trying out please register by 8:45am, we will look at kickers between 9am and 9:30am, for short range kicks, extra points, kick offs and onsides kicks.
What to expect between 9am and 11:30am! We will first stretch and loosen up. We will then divide into three groups for individual testing. The three tested areas will be: 40 yard dash (2 attempts) Pro Shuttle (2 attempts) and Standing Broad Jump (2 attempts). After testing is complete we will break up into individual position groups to evaluate your position skills. We will have 1 on 1 passing and blocking session as well as 5 on 5 and 8 0n 8 sessions.
What you need to know! You need to wear proper work out attire (Look Professional and Ready to Work-Out). There are rest rooms at In The Net, but no locker rooms. Turf shoes and Indoor/Outdoor cleats are acceptable footwear, NO Metal Cleats. In The Net also has a full concession stand for drinks, food and or snacks. We will have our Training staff from Wellspan Medical on hand for any medical needs. You will be signing a medical waiver at registration. There will be a $45 cost for the main try-out.
