'Blades Acquire Rights to Conacher

ESTERO, FL - Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today the team has acquired the ECHL rights to forward Cory Conacher from the Cincinnati Cyclones, in exchange for the ECHL rights to forward Brad Snetsinger.

Conacher. 21, was a four-year standout player for Canisius College from 2007-2011. The two-time All-Conference selection led the Golden Griffins in scoring last season with 42 points, while finishing his collegiate career as the all-time point producer in program history, amassing 147 points (62g, 85a).

Last season, the 5'8", 175-lb, forward posted five goals and two assists in three games with the Cincinnati Cyclones, including a four point performance in his first professional game, while scoring a hat-trick in his second game. Conacher also totaled six points (4g, 2a) in seven American Hockey League appearances split between Rochester and Milwaukee.

The Burlington, Ontario native signed an AHL contact with the Norfolk Admirals in July. The Admirals are the Everblades AHL affiliate. Stats for Cory Conacher

Snetsinger, totaled 51 points last season split between Bakersfield, Utah, and Florida last season.
