Millrats Drop Opener to the Kebs

The Saint John Mill Rats opened the season with a narrowly fought loss against the Quebec Kebs 100-93 on their home court at Harbour Station before a packed house.
After leading 46-44 at the half, the Mill Rats found the Kebs a worthy adversary in a grueling back and forth towards the end of the 4th quarter, with the Kebs prevailing down the stretch.
Anthony Anderson led the way with 20 points, Marc Egerson had 19 and 2 rebounds and Terry Martin scored 18 . Local boy Mike Anderson scored his first 2 points in the PBL in the 3rd quarter. Quinnell Brown led Quebec with 28.
The next game for the Mill Rats is January 6th at 7:00pm versus the Dayton Airstrikers at Harbour Station.
