Chicago Riot News Release

CHICAGO (Dec. 9, 2010) -- The Chicago Riot of the Major Indoor Soccer League announces today a marketing and technical partnership with the Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA).

The IYSA will help the Riot connect with its younger audience through several initiatives throughout the Riot's inaugural season. The partnership is mutually beneficial with specially designed programs to help each organization reach its desired goals. A few specific features include the following:

- December 12 is IYSA Family Four Pack Night, which provides IYSA families a private autograph session with former IYSA and current Riot players in addition to the normal package's four Haymarket Riot Area reserved seats, four hot dogs, four small sodas and four popcorns. The Family Four Pack is available for purchase by calling 630-708-6284.

- February 6 will be IYSA TOP Soccer Night and will provide Top Soccer Participants special on-field opportunities while raising awareness for US Youth Soccer's Outreach program for young athletes with disabilities.

- February 13 will feature the Chicago Riot against the Omaha Vipers. Before the game, the Riot and the IYSA will co-host a U.S. Youth Soccer U8-U10 Youth Module Coaching Course. Riot Head Coach Jeff Kraft will give his insight to the course's participants before and after the game. Coaches can register for the course through www.illinoisyouthsoccer.org.

"The IYSA has always been proactive in seeking ways to improve benefits for its membership," Riot Owner and President Peter Wilt said. "This partnership will provide educational opportunities for its coaches and players, as well as allowing its membership to experience the top level of professional indoor soccer in America at a discounted price."

"It's important for Chicago to have a professional indoor soccer team," Illinois Youth Soccer Executive Director Mary Jane Bender said. "It gives our members another opportunity to watch and study soccer pros at their game."

Next up for the Riot is a pivotal three-game, three-day stretch, starting with a road match against the Omaha Vipers at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10. Chicago stays on the road when it heads to Milwaukee on Saturday, Dec. 11, for a 6 p.m. kick-off. The Riot then wraps up its stretch with a home match against the Missouri Comets at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, at the Odeum.
