Anthony Chase Named PBL CEO

August 3, 2010 - Premier Basketball League (PBL) News Release

The Premier Basketball League (PBL) is pleased to announce that Anthony Chase has been named as the new Chief Executive Officer of the PBL, effective immediately. In addition, Mr. Chase has become part owner of the League with Dr. Severko Hrywnak, Chairman and Founder.

"The PBL has had three great years and now that we are an established League I felt it was time to bring on a seasoned businessman who will not only continue the initiatives we have in place, but take us to the next level," said Severko Hrywnak, M.D., Chairman of the Premier Basketball League. "Tony's business experience will drive the league toward continued growth, new opportunities and a brighter future."

Chase established Kentucky's Bluegrass Stallions in January of 2009, and the professional basketball team enjoyed great success in its first year. Chase has sold his interest in the Stallions to his partners, so that he could step into the League's leadership role. "I am excited about the opportunity to get involved with such a well run League and apply my business experiences to create a strong future for the PBL. Dr. Hrywnak and I both feel that mid market basketball has a place and a great following in North America." says Chase. "I look forward to working diligently with the rest of the executive team, and especially League President Andre Levingston, to ensure the success of the League and to grow the League in a smart way."
