Tuskers To Take Part In Two Community Events On Saturday

July 29, 2010 - United Football League (UFL 1) - Florida Tuskers News Release

ORLANDO, FL - THURSDAY, JULY 29, 2010 - Players, coaches and front office personnel from the Florida Tuskers will participate in two events this Saturday, July 31, in the Central Florida Community.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning, select players, head coach Jay Gruden, the Florida Tuskers Cheerleaders and the entire front office staff and interns will be at Central Florida Leadership Academy, where they will help paint classrooms for the new Orlando-based charter school.

In addition to volunteering labor, the Tuskers are supplying many of the paint supplies needed for the project and refreshments for the workers. Not only will the event give the Tuskers an opportunity to lend a local school a much-needed hand, but it will also give the players and coaches an opportunity to meet and mingle with the students.

From there, Coach Gruden, quarterback Matt Grothe, running back Kevin Harris, wide receiver Rocky Ross and a select number of cheerleaders will make their way over to Boardwalk Bowl on East Colonial Drive, where they will participate as celebrity bowlers in the Monsters Celebrity Bowl-A-Rama.

Held in conjunction with Rock Pink, the Tuskers players, coaches and dancers will join many other local Orlando celebrities in helping raise money for breast health awareness and breast cancer programs in Central Florida.
