Georgia Gwizzlies Removed from CBL

The Continental Basketball League has announced that the Georgia Gwizzlies have been removed from the league. Commissioner Dennis Truax made the announcement on Tuesday.
According to Truax, "Georgia will no longer be playing in the Continental Basketball League for failure to meet minimum league standards. The Gwizzlies failed to show up for games against Wilmington and Birmingham and this is something that will not be tolerated." Truax continued by saying, "We wish the best for the Gwizzlies organization but as a league we felt we had to move on."
The league will be announcing in the next couple of days how the Gwizzlies schedule will be handled.
