Thirty-Seven USHL Players Listed On NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

Chicago, IL - NHL Central Scouting has issued their final rankings in advance of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and a total of 37 players who played in the USHL during the 2009-10 season were named to the list. All 14 USHL Clubs have at least one player listed in the rankings.
Derek Forbort of Team USA is the highest ranked USHL player as he was listed #9 among North American skaters. The defenseman recorded 14 points (4g, 10a) and a plus-12 rating in 24 USHL games this season. Tri-City Storm forward Jaden Schwartz had one of the largest jumps among all players as he is ranked #28, which is up 13 spots from his midterm ranking in January. He captured the League scoring title with 83 points (33g, 50a) while playing in all 60 games for the Storm during the regular season.
A total of six USHL goaltenders were among the 30 North American goaltenders listed in the NHL Central Scouting final rankings. Team USA netminder Jack Campbell is ranked #2 while Jeff Teglia of the Omaha Lancers and Matt Skoff of the Sioux City Musketeers each made the list after not appearing on the midterm rankings.
