JetHawks Set To Host First Ever Fundraising Workshop

(LANCASTER, CA) - The Lancaster JetHawks have announced they will be holding a fundraising workshop at the Hampton Inn Suites in Lancaster on February 10th. Director of Community Relations Will Murphy will run down all the great fundraising opportunities available at the Hangar during the 2010 season. The workshop is free of charge and all non-profit and youth sports organizations are encouraged to attend.
"JetHawks fundraisers are a great way for local non-profit and sports teams to raise funds while enjoying a great night out at the ballpark," says Murphy. "It turns into a great community event for the organizations in which supporters, family and friends can support the organization while their enjoying a great night out."
The workshop will begin at 6p.m. and run until about 6:45p.m. While admission is free seating is limited, and organizations are encouraged to reserve their spots early by contacting Will Murphy at (661) 726-5400. Reservations can also be made by email at will@jethawks.com.
The Hampton Inn Suites is located at 2300 West Double Play Way Drive in Lancaster right across from The Hangar.
The 2010 season marks the 15th anniversary of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and since its inaugural game in 1996, The Hangar has produced more than 90 Major Leaguers and inducted 25 members into The JetHawks Hall of Fame.
