Huntsville Stars News Release
Family fun has always been top priority for the Huntsville Stars and their sponsors, and an agreement with SportsMed Friday afternoon aims to provide just that.
This summer, every Sunday Stars home game will be SportsMed Sundays and all children, coaches, and team moms will receive free admission when they wear their youth sport, scout, or martial arts uniforms to the ballpark.
"Our goal is to provide children from all over the Tennessee Valley an opportunity to enjoy some great baseball. Can you think of a better way to spend your Sunday afternoon than sitting back with your kids and enjoying America's favorite pastime," said SportsMed representative Gary Ward.
Teams participating SportsMed Sundays will also be allowed to parade around the field before each Sunday home game.
The Stars will begin their season Wednesday, April 14 when they host the Jacksonville Suns, followed four days later by the first SportsMed Sunday on April 18.
Season tickets for the 2010 season are now on sale. For more information contact the Stars offices at (256) 882-2562 or visit them online at www.huntsvillestars.com.
