(LANCASTER, CA) - CSN will broadcast all the Antelope Valley College Marauders Men's Basketball games during the 6th Annual Rancho Vista Shootout from the Marauder Gym beginning Friday night at 7pm. Larry Thornhill and Dan Sebastian will call all the play-by-play action starting at 6:45pm Friday night as the Marauders take on Canyons.

The Rancho Vista Classic will be the 58th time the Antelope Valley Men's Basketball team has hosted a tournament in the AV. In recent years the tournament has earned the nickname "The toughest eight team tournament to win in Southern California." In the past 14 years 10 different teams have walked away with the crown, and this year's competition should be the toughest yet.

The Marauders enter the tournament ranked 18th in the state and 8th in the Southern Section according to this week's CCCMBCA poll. The Rancho Vista Shootout will play host this year to Canyons, Glendale, Miramar Moorpark, Mira Costa, Riverside and last year's champions San Diego City. Riverside comes into the tournament with the highest rank at 7th in the state, while defending champion San Diego City will try and be only the 8th team to ever win back to back titles, a feat that has not been accomplished since Santa Monica did it in '93-'94.

This weekend will be CSN's first basketball games to be broadcasted over the network. With an entire season of Marauder Football behind them CSN's broadcast team looks forward to an exciting Men's and Women's basketball season.

"This past football season was amazing," says Will Thornhill Programming Director for CSN. "And with the two quality teams the Marauders are putting on the court this winter and spring, I'm not expecting anything less. During the Marauders Coaches Shows we broadcast during the week we've had a chance to speak with both coaches and they believe the Marauders have all the tools to walk away with both titles."

Marauder Coaches Shows can be heard every Tuesday and Thursday night at 7pm with host Joe Haller and feature inside information about the Men's and Women's basketball team's this season. Deiter Horton's Men's Basketball Show airs every Thursday night at 7pm, while Jon Taylors Women's Basketball show airs Tuesday nights at 7pm.

The 2010 season marks the 15th anniversary of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and since its inaugural game in 1996, The Hangar has produced more than 90 Major Leaguers and inducted 25 members into The JetHawks Hall of Fame. Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of 15 years of Hangar Heroes in 2010.
