
United Football League Players Sign With NFL Teams

JACKSONVILLE, FL (December 3, 2009) - The United Football League announced today that several of its players have signed with NFL teams. The UFL concluded its season this past Friday and, since then, eleven current and former players have been signed to NFL teams' active roster and/or practice squads.

Seven additional UFL players have been invited to workouts for NFL clubs including UFL Championship Game MVP RB DeDe Dorsey (Locos), T Jeremy Parquet (Locos), WR Taye Biddle (Tuskers), DB DeJuan Tribble (Tuskers), K Graham Gano (Locos), P Danny Baugher (Locos) and DB Matteral Richardson (Sentinels).
"Less than a week after the conclusion of our "Premiere" season, NFL clubs have shown interest in almost 20 UFL players," said Commissioner Michael Huyghue. "These signings further illustrate the overall quality of play in the UFL and the talent of these players, who if given the opportunity, can compete in the NFL. We wish our players the best of luck with their new teams in the NFL."
