OurSports Central Names UFL Players of the Week

Las Vegas Locomotives running back DeDe Dorsey, Las Vegas defensive back Isaiah Trufant and Las Vegas kicker Graham Gano Willie Andrews were named the OurSports Central United Football League Offensive, Defensive and Special Teams Players of the Week, respectively, for the championship game of the 2009 UFL season.
Dorsey rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns and also had four receptions for 32 yards in the Locomotives' 20-17 overtime victory over the Florida Tuskers. Dorsey played with two NFL teams: the Indianapolis Colts and Cincinnati Bengals from 2006 to 2008.
Trufant finished with two total tackles and one interception in overtime, in the Locos' win. Trufant played for the af2 Spokane Shock in 2006 and played in the AFL with the Kansas City Brigade and Arizona Rattlers in 2007 & 2008.
Gano hit 2-2 extra points and connected on 2-3 field goals of 46 and 33 yards. His 33-yard field goal in overtime won the UFL Championship for the Locos. Gano played his college football at Florida State and in 2008 won the Lou Groza Award that is given to the top placekicker in college football. He signed with the Baltimore Ravens in training camp but did not make the team.
