Military Monday Returns In 2010

November 9, 2009 - Southern League (SL) Huntsville Stars

NetwoRx of Huntsville has re-signed to sponsor the Military Monday promotion again in 2010. All Military and Government Employees and their guests will receive $1 admission to every Huntsville Stars Monday home game at Joe Davis Stadium this season simply by presenting your ID Card or DD 214 at the Box Office on Monday nights. If you are a military ID Card holder (Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard, Retiree, Family Member), you're good to go. All government employees (GS/CS, Contractors, etc.) are also included in this event. Flash your ID Card at the Box Office to receive your discount.

NetwoRx of Huntsville is the official IT company of the Huntsville Stars. If your business has IT issues that slow you down, call NetwoRx of Huntsville at (256) 535-0857. They'll work within your budget and get your system flying fast and secure. Last season we had some issues with our system here at the stadium. A NetwoRx rep came out, diagnosed the problem and made some suggestions to get us thru the season. Later this month we're having a small upgared that not is is inexpensive, but will make a lot of our headaches and staress dissapeear.

If your business is searching for an inexpensive way to reward employees, thank customers or have an off-site meeting away from the distractions at work, consider a Skybox at Joe Davis Stadium. Get your calculator out, I'll wait.

A season-long Skybox is $6,000 and comes with two season-long parking passes. That's 70 games with 10 tickets per game. If you divide the $6,000 by 10 tickets and then again by 70 games you come up with a per ticket amount of $8,57. You can buy a ticket at the Box Office for $8; for only 57 cents extra per ticket per day you can have air conditioning, guaranteed giveaway items, free popcorn, two free parking passes and reserved seats in the seating bowl. All you have to do is roust up a few buddies at work and share the cost and divide up the tickets. The weather never becomes an issue again and all it cost you is 57 cents more than what you'd pay at the gate. If you're interested, call Babs at (256) 882-256 for more information.

Look for a tie-in with the Space and Rocket Center and the 2010 Southern League All-Star Game this summer. All-Stars Wars? We currently have a friend in a marketing firm asking permission from the Star Wars folks (George Lucas) to max it out and partner on some things this summer.

Joe Davis Stadium is hosting the annual Operation Stand Down this weekend. Our offices will be closed this Friday at noon. Our staff will be on-site, however, we will be closed for regular business. We will reopen on Monday morning at 9:00.
