(LANCASTER, CA) -The Lancaster JetHawks will be holding a press conference to announce their plans for the 2010 season prior to their annual World Series Party on Wednesday October 28th at the Hangar. Gates will open at 4:30pm and the press conference will begin at 4:45pm. Following the announcements, fans that have purchased ticket packages in the past season will be invited to stay and watch Game 1 of the World Series on the Video Board and enjoy a complimentary BBQ.In 2009, The JetHawks had one of the largest attendance increases in all of professional baseball at 17%, and with the return of the Carfagnas and the entire front office staff, the JetHawks are looking forward to continuing their success in 2010.
"We are excited to share our ideas for the 2010 season with our fans," says Larry Thornhill who was just recently named the Vice President of the JetHawks. "We appreciate their continued support of our organization so it's great to be able to throw a party for them. It's fun to have everyone out to the ballpark one last time this year."
Next season will be the 15th year of professional baseball in the Antelope Valley, and the promotions and theme for 2010 will reflect that historic milestone.. Kaboom will also be making a slight change for next year that will be exciting for younger fans.
The complimentary BBQ for past and present ticket package holders will begin at 5:15pm and will feature free hotdogs and hamburgers. JetHawks staff will also have great give-away items such as gifts from sponsors, JetHawks gear, and Houston Astros Memorabilia to be raffled off during the game.
