Through a wide range of instructional programs, the City Islanders Academy is dedicated to improving youth soccer in Central Pennsylvania. Throughout the winter months a variety of training programs are available for ages 8-12. Classes take place on Friday Nights (Nov 6-March 26) at In The Net Sports Complex in Palmyra, and on Monday Nights (Nov 9-March 22) at Twin Ponds West in Mechanicsburg. Training is predominately done by the City Islanders Professional players.
Over the past few years these classes have been extremely popular, and have benefited many young players in the area. You have the option of signing up for a 6 week long super session, that focuses on a specific area of the game or you can sign up for our most popular class - "TOTAL SOCCER" which is 18 weeks long. All classes are one hour per week. The Total Soccer class encompasses all areas of the game, including coached scrimmage and tactical play.
