Amarillo Venom News Release
Amarillo, TX 7/23/09 - Your Amarillo Dusters came up with one of their most gracious victories earlier today, as they hit the road in the Panhandle's Meals of Wheels program.
"It feels good to be apart of the Panhandle community," remarked Dusters Linebacker Jared Williams. "There is no better feeling than the one you get when you help someone."
The Dusters have visited the Panhandle community quite a bit this season, making stops in Amarillo libraries, schools, YMCAs, the Salvation Army, BSA Hospital, and Meals on Wheels.
"It is our priority to serve the community on the field and off," commented Dusters General Manager Joe Morgado. "We're so thankful to have special organizations cooperate with our team."
Amarillo will travel to Oklahoma to play their final game of the season versus the Tulsa Talons at 7pm this Saturday. Catch the game live on 107.1 KPUR or online on af2 television.
