The Harrisburg City Islanders were victorious in the Third Round of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup with a 2-1 overtime win against the MSL New England Revolution.
New England Scored in the 37th minute off of a free kick to take the lead in the first half. Islander's evened the score in the 67th minutes on a Mo Odour header from Jason Pellitier.
The Islanders took the lead in the first overtime on a Geoff Bloes unassisted score.s ahead 2-1.
Harrisburg City Islanders advance to the Quarter Finals of the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup when they face MLS DC United Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Boyd Soccer Complex in Maryland.
The Islander's (1st place in USL-2 conference) return to Skyline Sport Complex and host the second place Crystal Palace on Friday, July 3th at 7:05pm. All military and service personnel get in the match for $5.00 with i.d
