Published on December 3, 2008 under Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL) News Release
Little River, SC) The Eastern Professional Hockey League Office today handed down suspensions and fines to members of both the Brooklyn Aces and Danbury Mad Hatters organizations as a result of a multi-player altercation which took place during the third period of last Saturday's game (November 29th) in Danbury, Connecticut.
EPHL Commissioner Jim Riggs has announced that both organizations have been notified of the penalties which have been assessed and both teams have chosen to appeal the suspensions and fines. Once the appeal process has been completed, the final list of suspensions and fines will be released with the names of the personnel involved.
The Brooklyn Aces play their next game at Jersey on Saturday night (12/6) while the Danbury Mad Hatters host the Hudson Valley Bears on Saturday.
