Huntsville Stars News Release
Stars fans, if you don't have any plans for Friday night, here's another great event in town that you might want to check out. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans (TFL) is hosting a fundraiser benefiting Trinity/HOPE, an organization that helps feed children attending Lutheran schools in Haiti.
As part of this fundraiser TFL will have a Silent Auction, Live Auction, Heavy hors d'oeuvres and some cool Door Prizes including an awesome Huntsville Stars prize package.
TFL is a great corporate partner of the Huntsville Stars, has always sponsored a Stars fireworks show and has raised money for various non-profit organizations making Huntsville/Madison County a better place to live. This season TFL is helping us plan the world's longest Wiffle Ball game in May that will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
But this Friday night you can hear from a Haitian Team Member how this evening will change children's lives. Trinity/HOPE, a Lutheran nonprofit organization, provide meals to more than 8,200 Haitian children and teachers daily!

One letter in the mailbag from Allison Tofflemire: How many more days must we wait for the greatest game?
Allison, the Minnesota Vikings will be playing in the Super Bowl in just over 70 more days.
Alas, and then I woke up.
Allison, if you're reading this on Monday night you have 142 days and a wakeup until the Stars take the field on Opening Night. If you're reading this on Tuesday, it's 141 days and an omelet.
And you thought I made these questions up, huh?
That's it for today.
Have a good week, everybody and Rock On!
