Manchester, NH: The Manchester Millrats will face the Capitanes Arecibo, former Champions of the Puerto Rico BSN professional league, this Tuesday and Wednesday evening at the Sportszone in Derry, NH. Both games will tip off at 7:30 p.m.

"This is great opportunity for our fans to connect with this year's team, and for new fans to come out and see the high level of basketball that the Millrats play," stated Millrats Principal Owner Jason Briggs.

The games are free for the public to attend. The Millrats recently launched a new website at www.manchestermillrats.com with VIP season passes now on sale. The passes will also be available at the scrimmages.

"We are privileged that a high caliber, international professional basketball team, such as Arecibo, chose to come to Manchester for great competition," explained Millrats GM Ian McCarthy.

Arecibo features a talented cast of seasoned veterans from the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) such as Buster Figueroa, David Cortes, and Pachy Cruz. In addition, Arecibo boasts 6'11 Jeff Aubry formerly a collegiate player at Cornell, and 6'10 Jelani McCoy, a former NBA player recently with the Denver Nuggets.

Former Millrat point guard, Ismael Caro, has been a BSN pro player for the past eight years.

The 2008-2009 Millrats have themselves signed an impressive roster to date including ex-NBA player and former CBA All Star, Desmond Ferguson, former McDonald's All-American Scott Hazelton, and former Southern NH/Central High School star Sam Carey.

Manchester opens training camp for two weeks beginning Monday morning at the Sportszone. Fans are welcome to visit and observe the camp which will run from 9am to 3pm Monday through Friday each week with Thanksgiving off.
