
Rush Players prepare for President's Cup

EDMONTON, AB - The President's Cup event, which is the National Championship for Senior B Lacrosse, is days away and promises to be filled with a week of action packed lacrosse games and activities for all to enjoy.
Senior B lacrosse is the highest calibre at the amateur level played in Alberta. The reigning President's Cup Champions - the Sherwood Park Outlaws are the hosts this year. The tournament starts Monday, August 18 thru to Saturday, August 23. The tournament will take place at the Sherwood Park Arena, home floor for the Outlaws.
Edmonton Rush players Jimmy Quinlan, Ben Prepchuk, Rory Glaves, Peter Gut and assistant coach Chris Stachniak will take to the floor for the Sherwood Park Outlaws this Monday to defend their Champion status. Recently acquired Edmonton Rush goalie, Steve Dietrich, will be in town to defend the net for Ontario's team, Owen Sound. Dietrich just signed a two year deal with the Rush which is still pending league approval.
