Wichita Falls Wildcats News Release

Wichita Falls Wildcats defenseman, Sean Duddy, has committed to play Division I Hockey at the Ohio State University, this coming fall. A native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Duddy will be playing at one of the most prestigious school in the nation. "I am excited to play in the CCHA which will allow my family and friends the opportunity to come and watch me play. Ohio State was one of my top choices...they not only have a great hockey tradition, but were one of the few schools that have the academic programs that are right for me." Duddy just finished his first season with the Wildcats and was slated to return this upcoming season, most likely being the team's number one defenseman. "Wichita Falls and Coach Bowkus played a huge roll in my development. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to play for the city of Wichita Falls and Coach Bowkus."

"Ohio State is getting a solid defenseman, but even more than that, they are getting a great character kid as well. Sean has made huge strides in his development and we are going to miss him." Wildcat's Coach Bowkus states. "Sean would have been the top defenseman in the NAHL. He has worked his whole hockey life for an opportunity like this and I could not be happier about his decision."
