EPHL's New Hampshire Freeze Update

The Exeter, New Hampshire team in the new Eastern Professional Hockey League (EPHL) has made a number of announcements as the team prepares for the 2008-09 hockey season. To reflect on the team's plan to attract fans and corporate partners from the entire New Hampshire Seacoast area, the team will be known as the New Hampshire Freeze. In addition, the team's home arena has been re-named The Rinks at Exeter.

The New Hampshire Freeze also announced that Morristown, New Jersey native Rob Miller has been selected as the team's Head Coach. Rob played professional hockey in the ACHL, WHA2, SEHL, and SPHL with the Jacksonville Barracudas, Lakeland Loggerheads, and Knoxville Ice Bears. He was a part of the Knoxville team that won the SPHL Championship during the 2005-2006 season. Rob played college hockey at New Hampshire College and Salem State College.

In addition to his professional and college hockey background, Rob Miller brings to the New Hampshire Freeze an extensive hockey instruction background. He has been an instructor with the Mennen Hockey School in New Jersey; the Philips Exeter Hockey School in Exeter, New Hampshire; the Peak Performance Hockey Camp in Winona, Minnesota; and Boot Camp Hockey in Lake Placid, New York. Most recently, Rob was an assistant coach for the Walpole Express Junior Hockey Program.
