JetHawks Inviting Fans for Community First Pitch This Friday

(LANCASTER, CA) -If you have ever wanted to throw out a first pitch at a professional baseball game, then you'll have your chance on Friday. The Lancaster JetHawks, Class A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, will be having a "Community First Pitch" this Friday, June 27 at Clear Channel Stadium. The JetHawks will be competing against their sister club, the Lake County Captains of the South Atlantic League, to see which team can get the most fans to throw out first pitches that day.
JetHawks fans are invited come to the ballpark from 11:00am - 3:30pm and throw a first pitch. All fans who throw a first pitch will receive a complimentary Reserved-Section ticket for Friday night's game against the Inland Empire 66ers. The Fun Zone, complete with the highly popular kids' inflatables will be open free of charge. Fans can also test their pitching velocity with complimentary use of the JetHawks' Speed Pitch. An affordable lunch package will also be available for those spending their lunch hour at the ballpark.
Participants do not need a ticket to take part in the Community First Pitch as this event is open to the public. Anyone who has a ticket to the game on Friday night, featuring a post-game fireworks spectacular, will be re-admitted at the normal time of 6:00 PM.
Individual game tickets for all JetHawks home games, including playoff games, are available in person at the JetHawks Box Office Monday - Friday from 10 AM - 5 PM or Saturdays from 10 AM - 3 PM.
