Week Twelve Players of the Week Announced

Omaha, NE - Terrance Bryant, Chad Kapanui, Milton Proctor and Terry Washington have been selected as United Indoor Football (UIF) players of the week for their play in week 12 of the UIF season.
Bryant, quarterback for the Sioux Falls Storm, shares Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in last week's game. In Sioux Falls' 62-52 win over the Billings Outlaws, he completed 23 of 35 passes for 262 yards and five touchdowns. Bryant added 19 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns to finish his evening with 281 yards of total offense and eight total touchdowns. This weekend, he and his teammates will hit the road to face the Sioux City Bandits at the Tyson Events Center.
Kapanui, quarterback for the Sioux City Bandits, shares Offensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts in last week's game. In Sioux City's 79-60 win over the Colorado Ice, he completed 16 of 25 passes for 212 yards and seven touchdowns. Kapanui added five rushing yards to finish his evening with 217 yards of total offense. This weekend, he and his teammates will host the Sioux Falls Storm Saturday evening at the Tyson Events Center.
Proctor, defensive back for the RiverCity Rage, has been tabbed as Defensive Player of the Week. Last weekend, in RiverCity's 41-13 win over the Wichita Wild, he tallied a four tackles (three solo, two assisted) and also intercepted a pass. This weekend, he and his teammates will host the Bloomington Extreme Saturday evening at the Family Arena.
Washington, running back for the Colorado Ice, is honored with Special Teams Player of the Week. Last Saturday, against Sioux City, he returned 10 kicks for 210 yards. In addition, he rushed 16 times for 100 yards and scored four rushing touchdowns. He also had one catch for 18 yards. In all, he tallied 328 all-purpose yards. This weekend, he and his teammates will hit the road to face the Billings Outlaws at Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark.
