Laredo, TX- The Laredo Broncos of the United League have signed OF Garry Templeton Jr to a 2008 contract. General Manager Jose Melendez and Field Manager Dan Shwam have announced.

Templeton is the son of former major leaguer, Garry Templeton Sr, who played 16 years with San Diego and the St. Louis Cardinals. Templeton Jr. was drafted by the Los Angeles Angels and spent three years in their farm system. Templeton Jr. has played the last three years with the Fullerton Flyers of the Golden League managed by Templeton Sr.
