UIF Week Four Summary

Omaha, NE - Week four started with a melting in Sioux City, moved into two teams putting up 60 plus on Saturday along with a Storm front smashing into Omaha and continued protection in Lexington on Sunday.

COLORADO ICE (54) at SIOUX CITY BANDITS (30)

Eugene Reed and Sean Ingram made the real difference as they had three rushing touchdowns apiece for the Ice. The Bandits' Brent Rawls scored the last touchdown of the first half and started the second half off the same way, making the score 27-30. Being down by three, the Ice would then commence a four touchdown run. Sean Ingram ran in with 5:30 left in the third; followed in the fourth by Ryan Clement, Ingram for his third and then Reed for his third. Clint Brown had two interceptions for the Ice. The Ice will host the Beef (3-1) this week.

EVANSVILLE BLUECATS (28) at ROCK RIVER RAPTORS (67)

Ben Sankey added five more touchdown passes putting his total at a league leading 14, and a league leading 789 passing yards. Sankey finished the game 21-32 with 244 passing yards. Defensively, the Raptors were able to force three interceptions with two resulting in pick sixes along with recovering 2-3 forced fumbles. The BlueCats will host the Bandits (0-3) in week five.

SIOUX FALLS STORM (61) at OMAHA BEEF (17)

Allen Burrell and Terrance Bryant led the Storm in the first half, as they connected for two touchdowns. Bryant also threw the go-ahead touchdown to James Terry with 1:00 left in the half, putting the Storm on top 24-17. The second half was blown open as the Storm stopped the Beef every drive and added 37 more points. Bryant finished 12-19 for 215 yards passing and no interceptions. Burrell and Terry both had three receiving touchdowns. The Storm will host the Outlaws (0-3) in week five.

RIVERCITY RAGE (29) at BLOOMINGTON EXTREME (11)

At the end of the first half, the Rage led 20-5. Derek Kutz started the scoring with a 20-yard field goal and ended the half with a 40 yard-kick, but finished the game 2-6. Anthony Fisher passed for what would be two of his three touchdowns in the game to Hurtis Chinn and Moses Regular. In the second half, the Extreme closed the gap to 20-11 after Steve LaFalce hit Reggie Gray for a 10-yard pass, but Peter Christofilakos was unable to convert the PAT. "BG" Brandon Gregory picked off two passes for the Rage, who will host the Rock River Raptors (2-1) in week five.

OHIO VALLEY GREYHOUNDS (33) at LEXINGTON HORSEMEN (66)

The Greyhounds were driving down the field and with the clock winding down tried to call for a timeout, but weren't able to as the teams headed into the locker room 26-39. This season, Kewan Dewberry has yet to be sacked thanks to his great offensive line. Sunday, Dewberry finished the first half with five touchdown passes and finished the game with seven. Dieont Stewart, who was quiet early in the game, rushed for three touchdowns in the fourth. Fred Ray finished 9-19 for 102 yards and two touchdowns. In week five, the Horsemen travel to Bloomington (0-3).
