Minnesota Swarm to Hold "United Way Winter Warm-Up" Clothing Drive on Friday, January 28

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm announced today that the team will hold a "United Way Winter Warm-Up" clothing drive on Friday, January 28 at 7:30 PM when the club hosts the Anaheim Storm at Xcel Energy Center.

The second annual "United Way Winter Warm-Up" will begin on Friday, January 28th at the Minnesota Swarm game and continue throughout the weekend at the Wells Fargo WinterSkate Ice Rink at the Landmark Plaza located in downtown St. Paul. Fans are asked to bring a new hat, scarf, pair of mittens or a gently used coat, snow pants or pair of boots to the contest to help make winter a little warmer for those in need. Donation bins will be located at all Xcel Energy Center entrance points.

All fans that donate an item to the "United Way Winter Warm-Up" clothing drive at Friday's Swarm game will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of these prizes:

· A Minnesota Swarm autographed jersey

· A Minnesota Swarm autographed mini-stick

· Winter Carnival 4-pack of buttons, a hat and four $1.00 off coupons for skate rental

· 2 United Way Winter Warm-Up care packages with hats, hand warmers, additional buttons and bracelets

In addition, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a United Way Rally Towel at the game.
